Intro to the Book Club

Slmz and Hey my fellow book lovers!!!

I have some exciting news to share with you today. It’s been one year since I started my own book club, and it has been absolutely incredible. I have read so many amazing books, met so many wonderful people, and had so many fab discussions. I want to thank all the book club members, and I hope they have enjoyed it as much as I have.

I also want to invite more of you to join me in reading and reviewing the books that I choose

every month. If you love books, and you want to discover new authors, genres, and perspectives, this is the perfect place for you. You’ll also get to interact with other book lovers, share your opinions, and learn from each other.

How does it work? It’s very simple. Each time, I will announce the book that we will be reading here. You can find it at your local library, bookshop, or online. You have until the end of the month to read it, and then you can leave your comments, questions, and reviews on the blog post. I will share my own thoughts and insights as well. You can also suggest books for future months, and I will try to accommodate this as much as possible.

What kind of books do we read? Well, I like to keep things interesting and diverse, so I try to pick books from different genres, countries, and eras. Some of the books that we have read so far include:

  • The Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella, a hilarious and heartwarming novel about a lawyer who becomes a housekeeper;
  • The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides unravels a gripping psychological mystery as a renowned painter’s sudden silence becomes the key to unlocking a dark and twisted truth.
  • “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie is a gripping mystery where ten strangers are lured to an island only to face a series of deadly events, revealing the dark secrets of their pasts.
  • “We Hunt the Flame” by Hafsah Faizal is a debut fantasy adventure following a skilled hunter and a disguised prince as they embark on a perilous quest to restore magic to a world consumed by darkness.
  • “Ramadhan Reflections by Aliyah Umm Raiyaan offers insightful and heartfelt reflections on the spiritual journey during the holy month of Ramadan.”

As you can see, there is something for everyone, and I hope you will find something that sparks your interest and curiosity. So, what are you waiting for? Join me in reading and reviewing the books that we love and have some literary fun together. I can’t wait to hear from you! 😊

We are currently in the process of choosing our next book – it’s a democracy! Ill let you know as soon as I do and hopefully, we can have some fun dissecting it together.
